Keyboard shortcuts

Use the reader, history finder, and Moodle pane from the keyboard.

App shortcuts

Use Cmd on Mac and Ctrl on Windows.

Cmd/Ctrl+K opens the conversation quick finder. Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+K asks about the current reader selection. Arrow keys move the reader selection and Shift+Arrow extends it when the reader is focused.

The library supports Cmd/Ctrl+A to select visible items, Space to select an item, and Enter to open it. Context-menu handling supports Shift+F10. Focus and the current view determine which shortcut handles the key.

Panels and school search

Escape closes the course assistant or Moodle pane. Cmd/Ctrl+R reloads the focused Moodle pane. In school search, use Arrow keys, Home, End, and Enter to choose a result.

Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move between controls. Focus indicators remain visible. Dialogs restore focus to their trigger when they close.

This website

Use the skip link at the start of each page to reach the content. Docs search opens with Cmd+K on Mac or Ctrl+K on Windows. Type a query, then Tab to a result and press Enter. Escape closes the dialog.

Copy buttons announce success or failure. Heading links can be copied from the address bar. Reduced-motion preferences disable the home page’s entrance animation and smooth scrolling.
